Native to North Africa and Europe, These medium to large bodied isopods spend most of their time on or at the surface of the soil and grow to be around ¾ ” in length. These crustaceans will eat a vanety of detritus including fecal matter, skin sheddings, and decaying vegetation, but can be supplemented with vegetables or tropical fish flakes on occasion.
