Porcellio Dilatatus Giant Canyon Isopods do well in semi-tropical to arid conditions where 75% of their enclosure is kept dry and 25% moist. These medium to large bodied isopods spend most of their time below or at the soils surface, Giant Canyon isopods grow to be over ¾” in length, Native to North America and Europe. These crustaceans will eat a variety of detritus including fecal matter, skin sheddings, and decaying vegetation, but can be supplemented with vegetables or tropical fish flakes on occasion.
