Scientific Name: physignathus cocincinus
Description: They have vertical, slanted stripes of green or turquoise on their bodies. Their bellies are white or pale yellow and their throats are a blend of yellow, orange and peach. Their tail is narrow and banded with green and brown.
Maximum adult size: 3’
Diet: Appropriately sized insects, small amount of finely chopped vegetables and leafy lettuces
Habitat: Use an aquarium or similar cage with coco chip or cypress mulch. Provide a large bowl for fresh water and soaking. Temperature should be 75 to 80 on the cool side to 90 degrees Fahrenheit on the warm side. Should be 5 to 10 degrees cooler at night. Supply plenty of branches for climbing and basking. Misting may be needed to maintain humidity.
